Job description

Pool and Spa Depot is now hiring Pool amp; Spa Service Technicians to work from our Cookeville, TN, location!
The Service Technician will evaluate, troubleshoot and repair pool and spa equipment at customer homes.
Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • Evaluate, diagnose and repair pool or spa equipment
  • Test installed equipment to make sure everything is in working order
  • Explain and demonstrate equipment operation to customer
  • Complete work orders and follow up paperwork
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Install new pool equipment
  • Open pools in spring - Remove covers and check equipment
  • Close pools in fall - Install winter covers and winterize pool
  • Maintain a clean and safe service vehicle
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the pool and spa industry is helpful, but not required.
  • Familiarity with pool components and chemistry. CPO Certification is a plus.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
No experience with swimming pools...that's okay. We will train you!
