Job description

We are looking for a Customer Sales Analyst โ€“ Home Depot to work with Home Depot operations management team, District Manager, and above to improve Trexโ€™s in-store positions, maintain preferential placement of in-store collateral, and coordinate and lead group training sessions. As a Trex Customer Sales Analyst โ€“ Home Depot, you will be looked to as an innovator and expected to manage accounts receivable and accounts payable with Home Depot and distributors, manage team projects, cultivate relationships with Home Depot operations management and supply chain planning teams, and execute retail sales associate communications. This role is a key member of our Retail Sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and Cultivate Relationships

  • Primary objectives are improving Trexโ€™s in-store positions, maintaining the preferential placement of in-store collateral, and coordinating and leading group training sessions.
  • Develop strong working relationships and maintain communication frequencies with key retail contacts at corporate headquarters and operations division levels, specifically with Merchandising Assistants and Home Depot Supply Chain.
  • Serve as the main point of contact internally with Trex marketing, customer care, customer experience, customer service, and accounting.
  • Serve as the key liaison between Trex Customer Care Call Center and Home Depot.

Project Management /Account Development

  • Monitor and analyze performance against key initiatives. Work with appropriate Home Depot headquarters and field personnel and Trex personnel to ensure optimal execution of the following:
    • New store sets, resets, and display execution.
    • Product flow optimization and forecast accuracy.
    • New product development.
    • Miscellaneous customer initiatives.
  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of products in the Quote Center, PIM, IDM.
  • Conduct activity planning and sequencing and resource planning.
  • Manage communication of monthly execution priorities with Trexโ€™s Retail Sales Associate team, status tracking, and special projects, and be the main point of contact for Retail Sales Associate questions.

Accounting

  • Responsible for entering purchase orders and processing checks to third-party vendors and distributors. Manage the payment process from start to finish.
  • Work with the Trex accounting team on retailer deductions, payments, and claims.
  • Work directly with retailers and distributors on payment processing.
  • Manage and track the team budget, process payments, and enter monthly accruals.

Manage installed sales initiatives

  • Work with Home Depot headquarters to coordinate install sales programs; and coordinate, develop, and distribute professional selling materials.
  • Coordinate and lead group training sessions.

Analysis

  • Pull, analyze, and identify trends within ad-hoc weekly sales reports from Home Depot Supplier Hub.
  • Analyze current inventory levels and customer forecasts to help identify opportunity gaps.
  • Track execution and inventory of retail literature and merchandising.

Miscellaneous

  • Assist with presentation development.
  • Place and ensure shipment of orders.
  • Retail merchandising management and support, including:
    • JDE account maintenance.
    • Procurement and ordering.
    • Inventory management and monitoring.
    • Website management of BuyTrex.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires 10% overnight travel for customer meetings, trainings, and conferences. A valid driverโ€™s license is required.

SALARY

Base Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000 annually.

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.
