Job Summary 

We are seeking a highly experienced Pool Maintenance Technician (2 years minimum) to  join our growing team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can hit the ground  running and consistently deliver top-quality service. 

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience with residential pool service, equipment  repair, and customer interaction, and takes pride in earning 5-star reviews. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform weekly pool maintenance, including vacuuming floors, steps, walls, tiles, and  cleaning pump baskets 

• Test pool water and properly balance water chemistry 

• Perform pool start-ups, openings, closings, and pool schools 

• Diagnose, repair, and replace pool equipment (warranty experience a plus) • Program Hayward OmniLogic systems and other controllers 

• Document pool conditions and repair needs clearly 

• Communicate professionally with customers and management
Qualifications & Requirements 

Proven experience as a Pool Service Technician (required) • Strong mechanical aptitude 

• Knowledge of pool equipment, plumbing, and minor electrical systems • Excellent customer service and communication skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented 

• High School Diploma or GED required 

• Valid Virginia driver’s license and clean DMV record 

• Background check required 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting) • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions 

• Availability to work some Saturdays during spring and summer • Willingness to assist construction crews during winter months
