Job Description
We are a growing, fast-paced property management office located in Farmington Hills, MI seeking a pool attendant.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, self-motivated and highly organized. The applicant will support local managers and employees on daily tasks as needed, maintain the pool and the surrounding areas, and enforce the rules to ensure safety around the pool area.
Monitor pool area to ensure safety and compliance with rules and regulations
Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness of pool area, including restrooms and showers
• Open and close pool gate daily
• Vacuum and clean pool as needed
• Perform routine maintenance on pool equipment and report any issues to management
• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, including answering questions and addressing concerns
• Enforce pool rules and regulations, including ensuring that all guests are properly attired and that no food or glass containers are brought into the pool area
• Clean bathrooms daily
• Support local manager with other tasks as needed
• The responsibilities of this position are subject to change at any time due to the needs of the business.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
