Position: Car wash attendant

Department: ISP

Location: 8500 E. 21st Street., Indianapolis, IN 46219

Duration:6 + Months

  • Work schedule is 8-4:30 pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch. Work week is 37.5 hours.
  • Fleet maintenance support by routinely cleaning the exterior/interior of vehicles issued by Field Support Services (FSS).
  • Hand-wash the exterior of all Field Support Services (FSS) pool cars on an as-needed basis, or at least twice a month
  • Clean the interior of all FSS pool cars at least once a month
  • On a quarterly basis, hand-wax all FSS pool cars
  • Assist FSS Installation in the preparation of FSS new/re-issue commissions for issuance
    On an as-needed basis, hand-wash the dirt and grime collected on new/re-issued cars that have been sitting on the lot for an extended time.
  • This process is necessary in an attempt to protect the State Police’s investment

Required skills:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Valid Indiana driver's license.
