Job description

Pool Deck Attendant
POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for the safety of our guests while at the pool area. Responsible for the cleanliness of the pool/deck areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Provides courteous service to all guests.
  2. Watches the pool closely from the station and ensures the safety of our guests at all times.
  3. Maintains the pool deck so that it is clean and slip resistant.
  4. Remains visible to hotel guests at all times.
  5. Attends all training sessions and meetings.
  6. Maintains an upright and attentive posture while on duty.
  7. Follows all safety and health standards set forth by Binions at all times.
  8. Stand and move throughout the pool area as required during an assigned shift in an efficient, expedient manner, regardless of extremes in temperature and other adverse conditions.
  9. Maintains the physical stamina and proper mental attitude to report all emergency situations.
  10. Be able to lift lounge chairs and move towel carts during an assigned shift.
