ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary: 

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. 
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management. 
  • Responsible for all pool rentals, including, rafts, tubes, and lockers.  
  • Responsible for keeping inventory on all lost and found items.  
  • Ensures the overall safety of guests in pool area.  
  • Maintains supplies and ensures inventory is stocked and ordered as needed 
  • Provides daily rotations and break schedules as necessary.  
  • Acts as communications center for guest calls, management, auxiliary departments and pool staff.  
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • One year of experience in customer service or a pool setting is preferred. 
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate. 
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner. 
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, with particular attention to detail.  
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and good public relations skills with a good personality, enjoying opportunities to work with and assist people.  
  • Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management, vendors and employees while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.  
  • Must be able to withstand extreme sun & heat, cold, and inclement weather for long periods of time throughout the day. 
  • Basic understanding of computers and use of software. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS  

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required. 

REASONING ABILITY  

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
