Job Title: Polyglot Software Developer Azure (AI focus)
Location: Warren, NJ (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Polyglot Software Developer with strong expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade applications in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure, React.js, .NET, APIs, and Azure Integration Services, along with a passion for AI-assisted software development and modern engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable applications using Azure, React.js, .NET, and Azure Integration Services.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
  • Develop reusable components and implement coding standards and best practices.
  • Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations using Azure API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, architects, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and participate in sprint planning, estimation, and code reviews.
  • Support CI/CD, automated testing, application monitoring, and secure development practices.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and architectural compliance.

Requirements
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS, including App Services, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, and Web APIs.
  • Strong expertise in React.js.
  • Experience with:
    • Onsite: Python FastAPI and SQL Server.
    • Offshore: C#, FastAPI, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, event-driven architecture, integration patterns, CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Developer Associate certification.
  • Experience with OAuth 2.0, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Managed Identity, and secure application design.
  • Insurance domain experience is highly preferred.
