Job Summary:
Striveworks is a leader in Machine Learning Operations for highly regulated industries such as the Department of Defense/U.S. Military. As a Software Engineer, you will be a core contributor to projects, focusing on designing and implementing data platform components and optimizing algorithms for real-world applications.
Responsibilities:
• design and implement data platform components such as data catalog, data lake, and data warehouse
• automate workflows and focus on last-mile integration for data platform components
• focus on ETL framework design and implementation, batch and stream processing, application CI/CD, and polyglot persistence
• optimize, deploy, and refine models and algorithms developed by Data Scientists in a real-world setting
Qualifications:
Required:
• 2+ years of relevant experience and/or B.S. degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related discipline
• Experience with Python (most important) and JavaScript
• Experience with standard tooling: Git, Docker, CI/CD tools
• Experience implementing RESTful APIs
• Experience developing full stack applications with technologies like SQL, React, Flask, Django
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Preferred:
• Distributed compute and storage
• Building batch and streaming ETL pipelines
• UI/UX experience
• Kubernetes knowledge/experience
• Flyte knowledge/experience
