About Us
MNL is a full-service ecological restoration company dedicated to Healing the Earth. Our services include native seed and plant production, shoreline and wetland restoration, prescribed burns, conservation grazing, vegetation management, and ecological consulting. We also support solar and infrastructure projects with pollinator-friendly practices and land stewardship expertise.

Our plants support ecological restoration, commercial landscaping, municipal projects, retail sales, wholesale partnerships, and conservation initiatives. From propagation through fulfillment, the team focuses on producing healthy, high-quality plants while balancing production timelines, inventory needs, and seasonal demand.
The Opportunity
The Greenhouse Production Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day execution and performance of greenhouse production operations at our Foley, MN location. This role oversees greenhouse production staff and seasonal labor while ensuring plant quality, inventory targets, and production timelines are achieved.
You'll translate production plans into clear operational priorities, allocate labor and resources, and make decisions that keep production moving. Success in this role comes from strong leadership, sound operational judgment, and the ability to maintain alignment between plant development, inventory needs, and customer demand.
What You Will Do
  • Lead greenhouse production operations across all stages of plant development, from propagation through finished inventory
  • Translate production targets, inventory needs, and sales projections into clear daily and weekly work plans
  • Allocate labor and resources across greenhouse production activities to maintain plant quality, inventory targets, and production timelines
  • Make timely operational decisions to address shifting priorities, production constraints, labor needs, and pacing risks
  • Ensure production workflows remain organized, efficient, and responsive to seasonal demands
  • Monitor plant health, quality, shrink, and inventory performance throughout the production cycle
  • Review production data, inventory reports, and planning insights to identify risk and determine operational adjustments
  • Respond proactively to inventory gaps, production delays, and capacity constraints to maintain alignment with customer demand
  • Monitor greenhouse capacity and adjust production execution strategies to support changing business needs
  • Hire, onboard, train, and develop greenhouse production team members and seasonal staff
  • Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable to production standards, quality expectations, and company values
  • Foster a culture of ownership, teamwork, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
  • Partner closely with Production Planning and Fulfillment teams to ensure plant readiness aligns with inventory projections and shipping schedules
  • Communicate production capacity, operational constraints, and emerging risks to greenhouse leadership
  • Evaluate production workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, scalability, and plant performance
  • Support the development and refinement of greenhouse production systems, processes, and standard operating procedures
  • Reinforce documentation standards and operational consistency across production activities
  • Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with greenhouse safety standards
  • Provide hands-on support during peak production periods to maintain workflow continuity and team effectiveness
  • Maintain Department of Agriculture compliance records and documentation related to IPM and Fertigation.

What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and executing production operations in a greenhouse, horticultural, agricultural, nursery, manufacturing, or similar production environment
  • Proven ability to allocate labor, prioritize competing production needs, and execute production plans in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Experience supervising employees, including hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and accountability conversations
  • Experience being accountable for production, inventory, quality, or operational performance metrics
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to make sound operational decisions under pressure
  • Ability to interpret production data and translate insights into operational action
  • Experience working with inventory tracking systems, production metrics, or operational reporting tools
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends, anticipate issues, and proactively adjust plans
  • Working knowledge of greenhouse production systems, crop scheduling, plant development, and production workflows
  • Experience working with greenhouse crops, nursery stock, native plants, horticultural crops, or agricultural production systems
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team development skills

The pay range for this role is:
