SUBSTITUTE BUS/CAR DRIVER OPPORTUNITIES
2026-2027 School Year
The Craig County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for Substitutes Bus and/or Car Drivers for the 2026-2027 school year.
This is a general posting for potential openings. Once you have applied to our substitute posting, your application will be screened for the next substitute orientation. Applicants are selected based on the needs of the division. If you are selected to attend a substitute orientation, you will be notified by mail. Substitute orientations are usually held once a month.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The substitute assumes the responsibilities of the regular employee when that employee is absent from work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have a GED or high school diploma.
  • Car drivers must have a valid Virginia Drivers License with a good driving record.
  • Bus drivers must have a Class B licence with School Bus endorsement and a good driving record.
