Interns gain practical experience in system implementation, user enablement, and technical support while building technical and professional skills that prepare them for future careers in information technology and business analysis.

If you're eager to learn, enjoy solving problems, and want to help people get the most out of new technology, we'd love to connect with you.

  • Strong academic standing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot to solve problems
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, or involvement through campus organizations, work experience, athletics, volunteer activities, or other experiences
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and technical concepts quickly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching, training, tutoring, or supporting other people's use of technology, including campus IT help desk or service desk work, peer tutoring, or student technology roles

  • Ability to create multimedia training assets such as screen recordings, instructional videos, or visual walkthroughs

  • Ability to query and analyze system or application logs to investigate issues

  • Experience working on team-based projects through coursework, extracurricular activities, or internships

  • Familiarity with at least one programming language and a general understanding of how applications, databases, and integrations work together

Compensation: The starting pay rate for this position is $27.25 per hour. Compensation for this role is established through Pella Corporation's internship program. Eligible participants may receive transition assistance in accordance with company policies and program guidelines.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT:

As an IT Business Analyst Intern, you will support the implementation and adoption of a new enterprise technology  platform through project work and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll gain exposure to system implementation, user enablement, and technical support practices while contributing to real business initiatives.
