Director, Federal Government AffairsHybrid / Full Time / Washington, DC
At Novocure, we're working to extend the lives of patients battling some of the most aggressive cancers. As our Director, Federal Government Affairs, you'll lead our federal advocacy strategy, build influential relationships across Washington, DC, and help shape the policy environment that supports innovation and patient access.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking an accomplished federal government affairs leader with deep Capitol Hill and healthcare policy experience. You'll develop and execute Novocure's federal government affairs strategy, partner with executive leadership on engagement with policymakers, oversee the company's Political Action Committee (PAC), and represent Novocure before Congress, federal agencies, and key healthcare organizations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop and execute Novocure's federal government affairs strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Members of Congress, federal agencies, and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Advance policy priorities supporting patient access, innovation, reimbursement, and oncology care.
  • Partner with executive leadership on meetings, briefings, and advocacy efforts in Washington.
  • Lead the strategy and governance of Novocure's Political Action Committee (PAC).
  • Monitor federal legislative and regulatory developments and communicate business impact.
  • Ensure compliance with lobbying disclosure, PAC, and government affairs reporting requirements.

ABOUT YOU
You're a strategic relationship builder with an established network across Washington, DC and a proven record of influencing healthcare policy outcomes. You thrive in executive-facing environments and enjoy translating complex policy into business strategy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of federal government affairs, public policy, congressional, agency, or healthcare lobbying experience.
  • Strong knowledge of federal legislative processes and U.S. healthcare policy.
  • Experience with Medicare, reimbursement, patient access, life sciences, or medical technology.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and relationship-building skills.

HOW YOU'LL WORK
  • Hybrid role based in Washington, DC.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Represent Novocure externally with policymakers and industry organizations.

WHAT WE OFFER
The pay range which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is $180,000 - $230,000/yr. This position is also be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant in addition to a full range of benefits. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
