Job description

Programs and maintains the CMM equipment as needed.Develops training materials and facitliates training courses for plant personnel with specific focus on SPC data collection, Abnormal condition recognition, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.Develops materials in compliance of TS16949, ISO14001, or other regulatory or customer driven requirements.Prepares presentation materials for PMG management or other outside audiences.Leads teams that are focused on root cause analysis, continual improvement activities, and new product development; as well as employee training and development.Actively interacts with customers and other external parties regarding matters relating to pertinent quality or compliance systems.Reports quality system performance to management for review as a basis for improvement of internal systems.Visits customers, vendors or job shop sites for quality issues, performance analysis, and/or quality system compliance.Leads fast response meetings for tracking internal and external quality concerns and scrap reduction projectsWorks in a safe manner and follows all plant safety policies; and instills safe practices while training other personnel by stressing the hazards associated with operation of specific pieces of equipment.Works as an active member of various teamsLeads through example with respect to professionalism and leadership in the execution and support of company policies and directives.
