Engagement Director / Senior Technical Project Manager

We are looking to fill an Engagement Director / Senior Technical Project Manager role with a government client leading a long-term strategic initiative in the workforce space. This initiative spans technology, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and application development, with multiple workstreams already in motion.

This role will provide hands-on technical project management and executive-facing engagement leadership for a high-visibility government workforce initiative, helping keep complex workstreams, agency stakeholders, and aggressive delivery timelines aligned.

About the Role

The Engagement Director / Senior Technical Project Manager will support a complex, high-priority initiative for a government client. This role is ideal for a seasoned technical project manager who brings strong schedule management, delivery coordination, and stakeholder communication skills, along with the professionalism needed to work directly with state agency leaders.

This position will help organize and drive work across multiple workstreams involving AI, data analytics, application development, and workforce technology. The initiative spans multiple agencies and requires someone who can quickly understand the current project landscape, build and manage a detailed project schedule, coordinate across teams, and provide clear updates to executive stakeholders.

The project is already in flight, so the successful candidate must be available to start immediately and be comfortable stepping into a fast-moving onsite environment where tactical project management, follow-through, and executive-ready communication are all critical to success.
