Job description

NOW HIRING

Journeyman Plumber

Tri-Cities, TN/VA  |  Full-Time  |  Pay Based on Experience

Bristol  •  Kingsport  •  Johnson City  •  Surrounding Areas

We are a blue collar staffing company placing skilled tradespeople on job sites throughout the Tri-Cities area. Right now we need a licensed Journeyman Plumber who knows the trade, shows up every day, and can hit the ground running. If that is you, we want to talk.

Journeyman Plumber

We are looking for a licensed Journeyman Plumber to work on residential and commercial job sites throughout the Tri-Cities region. You will be expected to lead your work, manage a helper when needed, and get the job done right the first time. This is not a management position — it is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground plumbing role for someone who still loves the work.

Job Duties

•        Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems on residential and commercial job sites

•        Rough-in and finish plumbing for new construction, additions, and remodel projects

•        Run supply and drain lines, set fixtures, hang water heaters, and make final connections

•        Read and work from blueprints, isometrics, and job specs without needing hand-holding

•        Troubleshoot plumbing issues and make solid decisions on the fly

•        Direct helpers and apprentices on the job site when assigned

•        Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades as needed

•        Keep the job site safe, clean, and up to code at all times

•        Inspect your own work before sign-off — do it right, not just done

Requirements

•        Valid Journeyman Plumber license — Tennessee or Virginia, state-issued

•        5+ years of hands-on plumbing experience in residential and/or commercial work

•        Ability to read blueprints and work independently without constant supervision

•        Proficient with plumbing tools, pipe threading equipment, and testing procedures

•        Working knowledge of local plumbing codes and inspection requirements

•        Able to lead a helper or small crew when the job calls for it

•        Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites

•        Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in crawl spaces, attics, and tight areas

•        OSHA 10 certification preferred — or willingness to obtain

General Requirements

•        Reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Tri-Cities area

•        Punctual and dependable — crews count on you being there

•        Must pass a background check

•        Professional, safety-conscious attitude on every job site

Schedule

•        Full-time, Monday through Friday

•        Early morning start times — must be available as early as 6:00–7:00 AM

•        Overtime and Saturday availability may be required depending on job site needs

Pay

•        Competitive hourly pay — based on your experience and license level

•        The more you bring to the table, the more you earn

•        Weekly pay

•        Workers' comp coverage provided

•        Benefits package available — details provided at interview

•        Opportunity for ongoing, steady work as long as you show up and perform
