Lake Station Community Schools

Lake Station Community Schools is recuiting for a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Teacher for Edison Junior Senior High School.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelors Degree
  2. Possess (or eligible to possess) an Indiana Department of Education Teaching License covering instruction of PLTW for the 2019-2020 school year.
  3. Possess the ability to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, staff and administration.
  4. Have good written and oral communication skills.
  5. Project Lead the Way qualification (preferred):
    • PLTW Gateway (grades 6-8)
    • PLTW Computer Science (grades 9-12)
Salary and Benefits:
The salary and benefits of the position will be commensurate with professional preparation and successful teaching experience according to the salary and benefit schedule adopted by the Board of School Trustees.
Full time position, 183 days; starting salary for Lake Station Community Schools is $39,500 (may increase based upon new 2019-2020 agreement with Federation of Teachers).
