SCC is seeking a Part time Specialist, Biotechnology Program. The ideal candidate will build strong K-12 connections with a focus on SCC's service-area school districts in St. Charles, Warren, Lincoln, Pike, Montgomery, and Callaway counties, and be knowledgeable about biotechnology and/or STEM fields in general.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain database of science educators across Missouri
- Attend PLTW showcases, science fairs, and other STEM-related or industry-aligned events
- Assist with dissemination of information about SCC's biotechnology program, careers, jobs, and SCC resources to teachers and students
- Maintain communication with Advisory Board members, particularly K-12 partners
- Provide logistical support for field trips, networking events, and panel discussions
- Provide logistical support for educator-training workshops
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.

- Executive Director, Outreach and School Relations
