Job Title: Business Analyst - 3DEXPERIENCE PLM

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 9+ Months Contract

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst - 3DEXPERIENCE PLM - to support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives, platform implementations, business process improvements, and system enhancements across the organization. This role serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical development teams to ensure successful deployment and optimization of the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ENOVIA, CATIA/SolidWorks, DELMIA, Power BI integrations, business requirements analysis, PLM processes, BOM management, Agile delivery methodologies, and stakeholder engagement This individual will drive engineering and manufacturing transformation through PLM solutions and continuous improvement initiatives, positioning 3DEXPERIENCE as a cross-functional business tool that supports collaboration, process integration, and lifecycle visibility across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide train-the-trainer support for the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and system requirements from stakeholders.
  • Define and optimize business workflows, product structures, EBOM/MBOM processes, data models, and PLM integration requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and business process evaluations for platform upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and migration initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business, engineering, and technical teams to design, configure, deploy, and drive adoption of PLM solutions that align with business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives that enhance PLM processes, data quality, governance, operational efficiency, and adoption of new processes and system enhancements.
  • Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, defect management, validation, and business approvals.
  • Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

Preferred Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, (or equivalent work experience). 
  • Experience & Technical Skills
  • Proven experience working with the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
  • Skilled in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, and functional/system documentation, with a keen aptitude for critical thinking and solution development.
  • Experience supporting PLM platform implementations, upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with 3DEXPERIENCE configuration and customization capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of PLM integrations, workflow design, data modeling, and enterprise system interactions.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum project environments.
  • Strong knowledge of SIT/UAT testing processes, defect management, and validation activities.
