PLC / Automation Technician (Entry Level)

We're seeking an Entry-Level PLC/Automation Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of automated manufacturing equipment. In this role, you'll work with PLC-controlled systems, robotics, electrical and mechanical components, and production equipment to help keep operations running safely and efficiently.

This is a great opportunity for someone with technical training, internship experience, or hands-on exposure to automation, maintenance, or manufacturing systems who wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced industrial environment.

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment and automated production systems.
  • Assist with PLC programming and modifications to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on controls, sensors, drives, and automation components.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and help determine root causes to prevent repeat failures.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Support robotics, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure equipment operates safely and in compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Document repairs, modifications, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting results.
  • Partner with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment uptime.

  • Technical degree, certification, trade school training, or equivalent hands-on experience in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
