Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Development and optimization of standardized PLC software modular system for shuttle systems
  • PLC software development using the Siemens TIA Portal
  • Conducting requirements analysis and contributing to the conceptual design of new solutions
  • Creating software test specifications in accordance with EN 13849 and performing necessary acceptance and functional tests
  • Documenting and providing training on the implemented software standards
  • Supporting implementation teams with complex intralogistics challenges

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Automation technology, Mechatronics, Electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in control software development-ideally in mechanical or plant engineering
  • Excellent skills in PLC programming using the Siemens TIA Portal
  • Solid knowledge and experience in drive technology (SEW/Siemens) desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and directives (e.g., EN 13849, EN 528, IEC 62443)
  • Analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, and a strong commitment to quality
  • Team spirit, initiative, and the motivation to help shape innovative solutions for automated storage systems
