As the largest indoor playground in Manhattan, our facility is a vibrant urban oasis featuring wall climbing, slides, interactive play zones, and a specialized fidget wall. We provide a safe, inclusive environment for kids of all neurodiverse backgrounds, including a top-notch sensory space designed to help children relax and recharge.
Overview: We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and versatile individual to join our team as an Associate. In this hybrid role, you will be the face of Complete Playground at the front desk, as well as ensuring a safe, high-energy environment on the playground floor. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able maintain a welcoming atmosphere for children and families; while seamlessly troubleshooting issues as they come up.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Relations & Admissions: Greet families with a warm demeanor, manage check-ins, process payments, and handle admissions for play sessions, classes, and special events.
  • Playground Supervision: Oversee the play areas to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests, monitoring equipment and enforcing rules to prevent unsafe behavior.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls and emails regarding facility hours, services, and policies; provide clear guidance to guests regarding safety rules and sensory space usage.
  • Event Coordination: Assist with bookings, scheduling, and check-ins for birthday parties and private events.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain an organized front desk and a tidy playground area, reporting any maintenance issues and ensuring the facility remains a clean, vibrant environment.
  • Safety & Support: Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents in accordance with company policies and handle customer feedback or concerns with patience and professionalism.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and a seamless experience for every family.
Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-traffic, fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, patient, and approachable, especially when interacting with children and neurodiverse families.
  • Proficient in basic computer systems (e.g., POS systems, Microsoft Office).
  • Physical stamina to stand, move, and remain alert for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Previous experience in customer service, reception, or working with children is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed.
