Job description

Job Title: Data Platform Product Manager
Job Summary:
This is not a feature PM role. The position owns a foundational data platform that every downstream product depends on. Success means fewer bespoke integrations, better data quality, and a platform team that can move fast because strong bets are made and hard trade-offs are navigated effectively.
Essential Functions:
  • Drive the strategy, planning, and execution of the Provider Data Pipeline focused on productized interoperability layer supporting repeatable, scalable data ingestion and exchange.
  • Partner with Engineering, Data Architecture, InfoSec, and Data Operations to deliver reusable integration modules and standardized workflows.
  • Manage the roadmap for enterprise data interoperability, including FHIR pipelines and modular transformation components.
  • Develop solution and data journey maps defining standardized ingestion, normalization, and verification processes.
  • Serve as SME on Provider Data Management with a focus on scalable directory and credentialing models.
  • Lead discovery and validation cycles to ensure standardized, reusable integration patterns meet customer needs.
  • Partner with Compliance to stay ahead of regulatory changes (CMS mandates, public health data-sharing requirements), translating mandates into development requirements before they become blockers rather than after.
  • Lead FHIR adoption and communicate interoperability value across teams.
  • Translate customer pain points and operational signals into platform-level investments, not one-off fixes. This role receives high volumes of feedback from multiple directions — you must be able to separate noise from signal
  • Comfort working with offshore team members to ensure continuous development
  • Create documentation around strategy, product offerings, and sales support as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Specific Job Skills:
  • 5-7 years Product Management experience in healthcare data platforms or interoperability.
  • Ability to create standardized integration frameworks replacing custom connections.
  • Deep familiarity with integrating with 3rd party provider data management systems like EHR, Credentialing Systems and FHIR endpoints.
  • Experience defining canonical data models and reusable ingestion pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of Provider Data Management.
  • Skilled in translating interoperability concepts into requirements and narratives.
  • Proven ability to synthesize customer insights and market drivers.
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: 5-7 years Product Management with responsibility for healthcare provider data and general interoperability.
Supervision: N/A
Certifications: N/A
Language Skills:
