Job description

Location: Hollywood, FL / Atlanta, GA / Remote

We are seeking our first Principal Product Manager to lead the evolution of Q6 Cyber's market‑leading e‑crime intelligence platform. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will serve as the strategic bridge and neutral arbiter between our world‑class threat intelligence researchers, our established engineering organization, and our enterprise financial services clients.

In this foundational role, you will take ownership of a mature product suite, moving beyond ad‑hoc feature requests to build a disciplined, data‑driven product lifecycle. Your primary mission is to translate high‑level intelligence insights and client needs into rigorous technical requirements that enable our engineering teams to build with precision and speed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Roadmap Ownership: Partner with the CEO, CTO, and SVP Intelligence Operations to define and maintain a transparent product roadmap that balances long‑term platform scalability with immediate market opportunities.
  • The "Neutral Arbiter": Act as the final decision‑maker on feature prioritization, using market data and ROI analysis to resolve conflicting demands from Sales, Research, and Engineering.
  • Technical Requirements Lockdown: Translate "intelligence concepts" into detailed, unambiguous user stories and technical specifications. Serve as the gatekeeper to ensure requirements do not shift once a development cycle has begun.
  • Bridging the "Gap": Work closely with the Research and Customer Success teams to identify "delivery gaps" in our current intelligence offerings and ensure Engineering has the clarity needed to close them.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the hardening and optimization of our mature core products, identifying opportunities to sunset legacy features or introduce high‑impact innovations in the digital underground space.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the "Voice of the Product" to external clients and internal teams, ensuring every stakeholder understands the why behind our product decisions.
Required Qualifications
  • Technical Fluency: You have a deep understanding of data‑heavy systems, APIs, and schemas. You must be able to earn the respect of a highly technical engineering team by speaking their language.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: You possess a working knowledge of the fraud and cybercrime landscape (e.g., ATO, payment fraud, dark web ecosystems) and understand how financial institutions operationalize threat data.
  • Proven "First PM" Experience: You have successfully navigated the transition from founder‑led or engineering‑led product development to a formal product management process in a startup or growth‑stage environment.
  • Conflict Resolution & EQ: You are a skilled diplomat who can say "no" to stakeholders while maintaining strong collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Analytical Mindset: You rely on data and forensic‑level detail rather than intuition to make product decisions.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills are required to document complex technical needs for engineers and value propositions for clients.
Compensation

We offer a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits package. Salary will be determined based on experience, skills and geographic location.
