Physician Assistant (Plastic Surgery)
San Francisco Bay Area | Full-Time
Our private practice for a well-established board certified plastic surgeon is seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant to join our collaborative, patient-focused surgical team. This is a unique opportunity to work closely a high-quality practice dedicated to delivering exceptional aesthetic and reconstructive outcomes.
We are looking for a PA who combines strong clinical and surgical skills with a refined aesthetic sensibility and a commitment to outstanding patient care.What You'll DoPatient Care & Clinical Excellence

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical exams, and pre-operative assessments;
  • Partner directly with the plastic surgeon to develop individualized treatment plans;
  • Guide patients through their surgical journey with clear education on procedures, expectations, and recovery;
  • Provide attentive post-operative care, including follow-ups and wound management;
  • Perform in-office procedures to include but are not limited to:
    • Suturing and minor excisions
    • Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections
    • Light and laser-based treatments
    • Injectables (Botox, filler, etc.)
Surgical Collaboration
  • Assist in the operating room across a range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures
  • Support intraoperative care including retraction, suturing, and maintaining a sterile field
  • Help ensure a seamless, safe, and high-quality surgical experience for every patient
Care Coordination
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure an efficient, elevated patient experience
  • Support surgical scheduling and continuity of care from consultation through recovery
What We're Looking ForRequired
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Active California PA license (or eligibility)
  • NCCPA certification
  • BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
  • 1-3+ years of surgical or relevant clinical experience
Preferred
  • Experience in plastic, cosmetic, or reconstructive surgery
  • Prior operating room experience
