JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Plastic Surgery Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: York, PA Service Setting: Inpatient, Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Nov 23, 2026 Feb 22, 2027 On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call (7am 7am), 6-8 shifts per month PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Varies (all ages) Patient Volume/Census: Varies FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: Not specified (hospital: 596 beds) Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (for urgent needs, clean files only) Credentialing Timeline: Less than 90 days; expedited credentialing available JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC) Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery DEA: PA DEA required Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Plastic Surgery DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide inpatient plastic surgery consultations and management Perform emergency and reconstructive plastic surgery procedures Cover 24-hour call shifts as scheduled Collaborate with trauma and surgical teams for complex cases Document patient care in Epic EMR
