The successful candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills as a listener, decision-maker, humanist, and an effective advocate for the Division and its faculty. Exceptional accomplishments as a surgeon and academician are a must as the Chief's duties will include maintaining a clinical practice.
UK HealthCare - Division of Plastic Surgery:
•5 faculty and 5 APPs covering all subspecialties of plastic surgery
•6-year Integrated Plastic Surgery residency program where residents are extremely successful placing at their preferred institution
•Covers a 6-hospital network including the newly-renovated UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital, a regional tertiary referral care center for Kentucky and portions of surrounding states - continued footprint expansion coming in
•Excellent facilities, outcomes, and "second to none" patient pathology
