Job description

Process Technician: A company in the Columbus, IN area is looking to add a Plastic Injection MoldingProcess Technicianto their team!

The Process Technician will:

  • Be responsible for start-up and processing of molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment
  • Participate in sampling of new equipment
  • Troubleshooting processes
  • Performing mold setter and machine operator responsibilities
  • And more

Process Technician's Pay/Benefits:

  • Up to $34/HR (based upon experience)

Process Technician's Schedule:

  • 2nd Shift; Monday โ€“ Friday 2PM -10PM
  • 3rd Shift; Monday โ€“ Friday 10PM โ€“ 6AM
  • Training will occur on 1st Shift; 6AM-2:30PM and may last up to 6 months

Process Technician's Requirements:

  • Work safe knowledge of equipment (crane movements, machine safeties, electricity, etc.)
  • Understanding of fundamental injection molding processes going from pellet to part
  • Basic understanding of machine/robot sequence programming
  • Basic understanding of mold tooling
  • Understanding of water cooling and air supply system
