Location: Lapeer, MI

  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM โ€“ 6:00 AM

Pay

Job Summary
Lapeer Plating & Plastics, Inc. is seeking dependable, hands-on individuals to join our team as Injection Molding Operators on all shifts. If you are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and ready to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.
No experience needed โ€” full training provided.
In this role, you will operate and monitor injection molding machines that produce high-quality plastic automotive components. You will help ensure consistent part quality, perform basic inspections, and support production flow throughout your shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove parts from the conveyor belt or machine.
  • Perform visual quality inspections and report defects.
  • Clip or trim excess plastic from molded parts.
  • Pack completed parts into containers accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area while following 5S and safety standards.
  • Record hourly production and scrap on worksheets.

Position Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs. for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance, especially during the 60-day probation period.
  • Willing to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Basic math and reading skills for work instructions and labels.
