Job description

Extruder / Thermoformer Operator - Night Shift
Want to work 14-15 days a month and get paid for the full month? Want every other weekend off? And know your schedule for the entire year! Medical insurance that is paid for 100% by the company. Starting Wage: $21.62/hr. plus $2.00/hr. shift premium for night shift.
We have an immediate opening for an experienced Extruder Operator for night shifts in our South Haven location. If you are looking for a consistent schedule and great benefits the apply today.
Responsibilities:
  • Setting up, operating or tending machines that extrude or draw thermoplastic materials into pipes, rods, hoses, wires, bars or structural shapes.
  • Procedures by reading and interpreting specifications.
  • Regulating machines to maintain the proper temperature, speed and feed rates.
  • Inspecting and measuring finished product to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Documenting and reporting any issues or deviations in the production process.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Operate and trouble shoot plastics extrusion equipment.
  • Monitor and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance.
  • Perform quality checks and measurements to ensure product meets specifications
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in a hands-on plastics manufacturing environment

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening and authorized to work in the United States
