Extruder Operator

We are searching for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on manufacturing work to join the team in Brighton, MI as an Extruder Operator.

  • 1st Shift: Monday to Thursday 6pm – 6am
  • Starting Pay Rate: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

The Extruder Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plastic extrusion equipment used to produce sheet material for commercial trucking products. This position plays a key role in monitoring production, making process adjustments, verifying product quality, and maintaining consistent machine performance throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor plastic extrusion equipment in a production environment
  • Startup extrusion lines, monitor material flow, and make adjustments as needed
  • Adjust machine settings, temperatures, speeds, and process controls to maintain product specifications
  • Perform quality checks and monitor machine output throughout the production process
  • Set up and adjust cooling systems and related equipment
  • Read digital machine displays and follow detailed production instructions
  • Use a forklift to transport raw materials and finished products as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
