Journeyman Plasterers are responsible for applying coats of plaster or stucco to exterior walls, ceilings, and other surfaces according to specifications. Work may involve both traditional hand-applied methods and machine-applied finishes, depending on the scope of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Apply exterior plaster or stucco to walls, ceilings, and facades using trowels, brushes, or spray equipment.
  • Prepare surfaces for application by cleaning, taping, or adding bonding agents as needed.
  • Mix plaster/stucco materials to the correct consistency and specifications.
  • Repair cracks, holes, or damaged surfaces with plaster patching.
  • Ensure high-quality finishes with smooth or textured surfaces as required.
