Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Plaster/Stucco Technician to join our growing construction team in Miami, Florida. Our company specializes in drywall, ceilings, and exterior finishing systems for commercial and residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience applying plaster and stucco finishes, operating construction tools and equipment safely, and working in elevated environments while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Apply plaster, stucco, and related finishing materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Prepare surfaces for application by cleaning, patching, and installing appropriate support materials.
  • Mix, spread, level, texture, and finish plaster and stucco according to project specifications.
  • Repair and restore damaged plaster and stucco surfaces.
  • Read and follow blueprints, project specifications, and work instructions.
  • Safely operate and maintain hand tools and power tools required for plaster and stucco work.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, project managers, and other trades to meet project schedules.

Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience in plastering, stucco application, construction finishing, or a related trade.
  • Current OSHA 10 Certification required.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely and effectively use a variety of hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day .
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions typical of South Florida.
  • Ability to work at heights and in elevated work environments.

Work Environment Requirements
  • Must be able to safely work on scaffolding, aerial lifts, and stilts as required by project conditions.
  • Comfortable working in active construction environments with exposure to dust, noise, and changing temperatures.
  • Must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on commercial drywall and ceiling projects.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Additional safety certifications are a plus.
