Grin Pediatric Dentistry is a well-established, patient-focused pediatric dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a warm, welcoming, and family-friendly environment. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Scheduling Coordinator to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and families, excels at communication, and thrives in a fast-paced dental office setting. The Scheduling Coordinator plays a key role in creating an outstanding patient experience by managing appointments, coordinating treatment schedules, verifying insurance benefits, and serving as a trusted resource for patients and parents.

  • Office Hours: 7:50 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Pay Range: $19-$23 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
  • Greet, check in, and check out patients and families
  • Verify insurance benefits and communicate coverage information
  • Assist with treatment coordination and scheduling
  • Create and send emails to patients, specialists, and referring offices
  • Generate reports within dental practice management software
  • Scan and organize patient documents
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and parents
  • Interact comfortably with individuals of all ages, especially children
Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of dental front office experience required
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology
  • Experience with insurance verification
  • Experience presenting or coordinating treatment plans
  • Scheduling experience in a dental office
  • Basic knowledge of dental billing and coding
  • Comfortable handling financial transactions
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
