Senior Business Planning Manager
Description -
We are seeking a Business Planning Manager to drive business performance through strategic planning, financial analysis, performance management, and data-driven decision-making. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop business plans, monitor KPIs, identify growth opportunities, and provide executive insights that influence strategic priorities. Leveraging Power BI, SQL, and advanced analytics, the Business Planning Manager will transform complex data into actionable recommendations while supporting forecasting, budgeting, and long-term business planning.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking across strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and business reviews using Power BI.
  • Define, standardize, and monitor business KPIs to measure performance against strategic objectives.
  • Analyze financial and operational performance to identify risks, opportunities, and growth drivers.
  • Build business cases, scenario models, and investment analyses to support strategic decisions.
  • Partner with Finance, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align business priorities and execution.
  • Conduct trend analysis, forecasting, and performance diagnostics to generate actionable recommendations.
  • Develop executive presentations and communicate insights to senior leadership.
  • Improve reporting processes through automation, data integration, and scalable analytical solutions.
  • Support annual operating plans, long-term planning, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Manage multiple strategic initiatives while ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Masters degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Planning, Strategy, Business Analytics, or a related role.
  • Strong experience in business performance management, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, SQL, and data visualization.
  • Experience building executive dashboards and translating data into business recommendations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting executive leadership, annual planning, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with Databricks, cloud analytics platforms, and enterprise data ecosystems.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, or scenario planning.
  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.

The pay range for this role is $105,050 to $161,800 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
