Job description

HelloFresh's newly acquired Ready-to-Eat brand Factor, is looking for a Planning Manager to oversee forecasting, planning and master scheduling responsibilities for the network of manufacturing and fulfillment centers. The Planning team plays a central role in maintaining efficient Operations and delivering for our customers in a high-growth environment. Our Planning Managers are responsible for end-to-end end-to-end production planning for our U.S. distribution centers, including addressing day-to-day operational risk, analytical problem-solving, and driving improvement of key performance indicators. We are looking for leaders with strong analytical and dive-deep skills, as well as excellent communication skills and executive presence, who can partner effectively with other leaders across functions to solve problems and execute high-level network decisions on a daily basis.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Own and manage weekly/monthly production and fulfillment and capacity plans using systems and processes that support the organization's goals.
  • Track progress to and deviations from the plan, drive problem-solving and root cause analysis. Review production performance and update planning rates to accurately reflect plant capabilities and available capacity.
  • Assess and identify potential Operational risks; lead the discussion of risks and plan changes with other key business stakeholders such as Procurement, Logistics, HR and Operations leaders.
  • Utilize production and fulfillment planning tools and track performance to ensure the successful execution of production plans.
  • Take on projects to drive the continuous improvement of Planning tools and processes and complete them on schedule. 
  • Lead or participate on special projects as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field with 3-5 years relevant experience in production planning, detailed scheduling , replenishment planning, demand planning or materials management required OR Associates degree with 5 to 10 years relevant experience in production planning, detailed scheduling , replenishment planning, demand planning or materials management required
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands on time required
  • Organizational, project management skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Google sheets and/or MS Excel required (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • 3-5 years of experience in Production Planning or related positions that require cross-functional collaboration and data analysis to influence stakeholders 
  • Food and Beverage manufacturing industry experience preferred
