Job description

The Sales Planning Executive (also referred to as an Ad Sales Planner) provides support for all aspects of the ad sales process. The successful candidate will have a team-player mentality and the ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines to fulfill client requests. The sales planning executive reports to the Senior Director, Multimedia Sales.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

  • Effectively create and revise Upfront and Scatter media plans that maximize revenue and inventory based on marketplace conditions and client needs
  • Work closely with Sales, Pricing & Planning, and Traffic to ensure advertisers air as negotiated
  • Manage deal tracks reflecting all options and changes on networks
  • Oversee Account stewardship to deliver buys across all TelevisaUnivision networks. Managing the liability and working with Sales Coordinators to book recaps as needed
  • Own and assist Finance with monthly billing reconciliation
  • Supervise Sales Coordinators on all pre and post-sales support. Delegate responsibilities and train the Sales Coordinators
  • Service accounts by building and maintaining close communication with agency/client counter-parts as needed to provide excellent service at all times

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Sales experience in related field or industry required
  • Previous advertising/media experience
  • Experience working with Ad Sales Traffic Departments
  • Knowledge of Dealmaker and/or WideOrbit
  • Media math skills
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and organization

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willing to work from our New York office
  • Employment/education will be verified
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

SALARY RANGE

  • 60K-70K + Benefits Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Please note the national salary range listed in the job posting reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations that would be applicable to the position.
