As a Director of Planning here at Honeywell Technologies, you will play a critical role in driving the 5 step S&OP process and key initiatives to achieve revenue, margin and cash flow goals for the businesses that you support.  You will develop close connections to the commercial partners in the businesses and lead a team of supply chain planning professionals.  You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment to key business strategies and objectives. Your expertise in planning and supply chain management will be instrumental in driving business growth and competitiveness as Honeywell Sundyne is integrated into the Honeywell Technologies portfolio after 2025 acquisition.  In addition, this team is undergoing a transformation in it's processes and tools, this role will be a key architect & change leader to ensure that those changes are effective and sustainable.  

You will report directly to VP Supply Chain for our Process Technologies (PT) division, and you'll work along with the business partners in our Arvada, CO location on a hybrid work schedule with 3 or more days per week in the office. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the financial performance of the business through support of all growth initiatives, creation of a robust pipeline of working capital & cost savings improvements, and drive initiatives that increase our planning capabilities. Your expertise in the 5 step S&OP process will drive process maturity improvements that will be visible in our annual S&OP assessment.   At Honeywell Technologies, we are very focused on Accelerating Growth and you will have responsibility to partner with various Commercial teams to establish a robust inbound supply chain to support all growth initiatives.

This position leads are planning activities including demand planning, production planning, inventory control, material planning, supporting a specific global business unit.  This business is planning Engineer to Order and Variant Configuration products in a discrete manufacturing environment.  You will have significant authority in Strategic Planning, work cross-functionally to achieve organizational objectives and drive functional excellence and continuous improvement.  You are a proven leader driving teams to deliver best in class results. You are accountable for and lead multiple, highly complex global projects.  Lead Planning strategy & vision and drive execution to enable business value and productivity. Continuously improve planning processes to drive better business results.  Build a world-class workforce that creates competitive advantage by hiring the right people, developing, coaching, and retaining top talent.  Ensure the S&OP/S&OE processes are delivering at world-class levels to maximize revenue, reduce costs & inventory, and achieve top tier delivery performance for our customers.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years of experience in S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Inventory Management and Materials Management
  • Proven track record in leading a 5 step S&OP process for commercial business
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Demonstrated transformational leadership experience to support accelerating growth and dynamic mergers & acquisition environment
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP MRP and ERP, preferably on Engineer to Order/ Deal based business with Variant Configuration
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field

Pay Range:

The annual base salary range for this position is $169,000 - $210,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Compensation Package Language:

This position is incentive plan eligible.

  • Lead informal team of demand planning, supply planning, inventory management to over deliver key metrics & execute with excellence
  • Drive alignment between Planning and all other supply chain & commercial teams to achieve success and ensure business is setup for Growth
  • Optimize internal processes to improve S&OP process maturity to level 4
  • "Conduct the orchestra" across end to end supply chain for this business to ensure achievement of double digit growth agenda
  • Facilitate the 5-step process for S&OP/IBP for rolling 18-24 months and also ensure an effective S&OE exists for current quarter
  • Lead planning related activities for integration
  • Partner with the business leaders to ensure our global supply chain is designed to deliver exceptional results for our customers
  • Monitor demand, supply, inventory, and material requirement plans
  • Responsible to lead all Business Continuity Plans for the planning function to deliver risk mitigation plans and ensure quick recovery from any crisis or disaster situations
  • Ensure delivery of inventory targets, PFEP, and reduction of aged inventory
  • Develop and drive the talent pipeline for planning roles, including mentoring and coaching upcoming talent
  • Streamline work through digital transformation
  • Connect back with Corporate Planning at the HON level to ensure adherence to all Global Design Models in accordance with Honeywell Accelerator framework
