Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory and Warehouse operations (pulling and re-shelving gear and steel)

Perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles such as changing oil, checking fluids, and checking operations.

Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, precision instruments, and power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, jacks, and hoists.

Adjust and replace parts, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment.

Examine and adjust protective guards, and specified safety devices.

General Responsibilities

Maintain work area appearance and safe housekeeping practices.

Actively participate in company-provided safety skills training and company-assigned improvement initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Perform duties with little or no supervision and in a timely and efficient manner.

Contribute to a positive and productive working environment.

Knowledge / Abilities / Skills

Proficiency in the use of shop tools required.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move and stand frequently.

Must frequently use their hands to touch, handle, and move gear, steel, and other shop items.

Must be able to lift and move up to 75lbs regularly.

Regular, predictable, on-time attendance is an essential job function.

Ability to learn or knowledge of trucking load control.

Education

A certified forklift license is preferred but not required.

OSHA 30 preferred but not required.

CDL license preferred but not required.
