About the Team
Join a highly collaborative global Supply Chain Planning team that helps keep ZF's operations running efficiently around the world. The team is responsible for analyzing supply and demand trends, supporting allocation and planning activities, and driving process improvements across multiple plants and regions. Working closely with logistics, operations, and supply chain partners, you'll gain hands-on experience with real business challenges, learn industry-leading planning practices, and contribute to impactful projects that support the future of mobility.
What you can look forward to as Supply Chain Planning Intern:
  • Support allocation reporting and supply planning activities for ZF plants globally.
  • Analyze supply chain and planning reports to support business and operational decision making.
  • Assist with mapping, documenting, and improving supply chain planning processes.
  • Create process documentation, standard work instructions, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including inbound logistics, outbound logistics, freight, and operations.
  • Utilize Excel and other business tools to analyze supplier delivery performance and customer requirements.
  • Support digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain organization.
  • Gain hands-on experience working with a global team and understanding supply and demand fluctuations.

Your Profile as Supply Chain Planning Intern (m/f/d):
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Junior or Senior standing with an expected graduation date within the next 12 to 24 months.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and multicultural environment.
  • Interest in supply chain planning, logistics, manufacturing, or automotive operations.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced global environment.
