Job description

Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza is seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our kitchen in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role requires a passionate leader with a strong background in food service, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and hospitality. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, ensuring that food preparation and presentation meet our brand standards, and maintaining compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations. In this position, the Kitchen Manager will lead by example, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and consistent performance. Responsibilities include training and developing kitchen team members, managing inventory and food costs, monitoring kitchen equipment and cleanliness, and working closely with the General Manager to deliver a smooth and efficient service. The successful candidate will bring at least two years of kitchen management experience, a deep understanding of kitchen operations, and a strong desire to contribute to the continued success and reputation of Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain consistent quality and adherence to brand standards.
  • Enforce food safety procedures and ensure full compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen team members to support professional growth and performance excellence.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food and labor costs while minimizing waste.
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication and service during peak hours.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times.

Skills

  • Experience in a quick service fast food restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Strong shift management abilities to effectively lead a diverse team.
  • Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food service management principles and practices.
  • Proficient in food handling techniques to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Ability to train staff effectively in both culinary skills and operational procedures
  • Knowledge with Toast POS and xtraChef inventory is a plus but not required
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
