Job description

Adecco is seeking motivated and experienced Warehouse PIT Operator III to join our team immediately for a prominent client in Brookshire, TX. This is a critical role within a fast-paced warehouse environment, offering competitive pay and excellent opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a variety of powered industrial trucks, including sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.

  • Transport, load, unload, and stack materials efficiently within high-density storage areas, including elevated racks.

  • Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately track inventory and ensure data integrity.

  • Conduct pre-shift inspections of equipment, report issues promptly, and perform basic maintenance to uphold safety standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following OSHA guidelines.

  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of material handling or forklift experience in a busy logistics or warehouse setting.

  • Proven proficiency with Crown equipment and familiarity with Walkie Rider, stand-up, sit-down, and slip sheet lift trucks.

  • Valid driver’s license is mandatory.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with the capacity to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout shifts.

  • Experience using RF scanners and basic warehouse management systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and solid math abilities.
