Job description

Join the team at Adecco working with a leading client in Brookshire, TX, as a Warehouse PIT Operator II. This pivotal role specializes in powered industrial lift truck operations, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic logistics environment while advancing your career in supply chain management. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Safely operate powered industrial lift trucks, including forklifts and order pickers, to efficiently move, lift, stack, and organize products and materials.  

  • Use handheld scanners accurately to maintain precise inventory control.  

  • Load and unload trailers, assisting with inbound and outbound logistics processes.  

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace that adheres to safety and quality standards.  

  • Follow company policies and demonstrate a commitment to process excellence.  

  • Work effectively in temperature-controlled environments, which may be hot or cold, handling materials weighing up to 50 lbs.  

  • Perform inbound receiving tasks with attention to detail and safety protocols. 

Qualifications:  

  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.  

  • At least 1 year of experience operating Reach Truck Lift, with certification and proper training in safe lift truck operation.  

  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs regularly and move materials on wheeled carts weighing up to 500 lbs.  

  • Strong physical stamina to stand, sit, twist, bend, and lift continuously.  

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.  

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  

  • Valid driver’s license preferred.  

  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including mandatory overtime and weekend shifts.

Schedule Options:
