Job description



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse PIT Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safely and efficiently operating a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and similar equipment. We have multiple shifts available.


Responsibilities:



  • Operate a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.

  • Load and unload trucks and containers.

  • Stack products in correct locations, ensuring stability and safety.

  • Conduct daily inspections of PIT equipment and report any maintenance issues.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

  • Assist with inventory counts and quality control checks as needed.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PIT Operator in a warehouse environment.

  • Must be able to operate Forklifts, Reach Trucks, and Order Pickers. 

  • All candidates must pass an equipment skills test prior to hire.

  • Current and valid PIT operator certification or license is highly preferred.

  • Proven ability to operate various types of PIT equipment, including stand-up and sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
