SERVPRO of Piscataway is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Restoration Supervisor to oversee and lead out restoration technicians. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of disaster restoration industry (Water, Fire, Mold)
  • Report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform
  • Coach and train restoration technicians and ensure safety standards are being followed during all active jobs
  • Ensures appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job, arrives to work site
  • Performs daily monitoring and required activities on all active jobs to residential and/or commercial customers with a sense of urgency
  • Completes sketch and scope sheet for estimate, complete drying records using mobile software
  • Inspects jobs after completion and obtains customer signatures for certification of satisfaction
  • Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
  • Maintain inventory of supplies
Position Requirements
  • Valid drivers license
  • At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction
  • Experience with using Xactimate is preferred but not required
  • Certifications required:
    • OCT Odor Control Technician
  • Certifications are preferred, but not required:
    • ASD Applied Structural Drying Technician
    • FSRT Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician
    • OCT Odor Control Technician
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly (occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance) climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
