We are looking for a CDL Driver to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a dependable, safety-focused driver who takes pride in delivering excellent service, seeking consistent work, competitive pay and supportive team environment.


Summary:

This position must be a Class A CDL License, 21 Years of Age and have a Clean Driving Record with 6 months to 1 year DOT driving experience. The employee in this position will be responsible for transporting freight daily between one or more locations. Must be able to operate a truck with a manual transmission. The ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds is required. The work environment includes company vehicles and warehouse, plant, or production areas with continual driving/sitting periods and occasional standing or walking. Reading and understanding the information and ideas presented in writing is required. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Must be able to pass all DOT and insurance regulations. Pre-employment drug screening will be required post-offer.

We prioritize work-life balance for our drivers, ensuring they have the time and flexibility they need both on and off the road. At the end of every shift, our drivers return homeโ€”no long hauls, no overnight stays.


Job Functions (Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements):

The primary duties consist of (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Follow safety rules and work procedures.
  • Drives 24' straight truck and tractor and trailer to transport materials to and from specified destinations by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads.
  • Prepare receipts for the load picked up. Maintained truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
  • Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
  • Position blocks and/or tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
  • May load and unload truck; inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
  • Clean the work area or vehicle.
  • Performs other duties as needed.
