Job description

CDL-A Flatbed Steel Hauler

Run dedicated stainless-steel flatbed freight with weekend home time, planned backhaul loads, and weekly earnings of $2,000 to $2,100 in this CDL-A driving position.

Pay: $2,000 to $2,100 per week | Home Time: Home every weekend with a 34-hour reset Freight: Dedicated stainless-steel flatbed with backhaul loads | Experience: Minimum 6 months of flatbed experience required Location: Mobile, AL 36602

• Weekend home time with a 34-hour reset • Dedicated stainless-steel customer freight • Newer-model Kenworth T680 tractors • $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified drivers

Role: CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver

Compensation: Weekly pay of $2,000 to $2,100. Qualified drivers are eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Equipment: Assigned newer-model Kenworth T680 tractors paired with 2025 Extreme 48-foot flatbed trailers equipped with 12 winches, straps, and two six-foot drop tarps.

Routes & Home Time: Drivers haul dedicated stainless-steel freight originating near Calvert, Alabama, followed by available backhaul freight that helps keep equipment moving efficiently toward the next dedicated load. Weekend home time with a 34-hour reset provides a dependable schedule while maintaining strong weekly earning potential.

This position is designed for experienced flatbed drivers who are comfortable hauling steel products, securing freight, and working with tarp loads. Drivers remain with the same trailer throughout each trip because freight is primarily live loaded and live unloaded rather than drop and hook.

Freight: Outbound freight includes smaller stainless-steel coils and flat stainless-steel sheets. Approximately 75% of loads require tarping using lighter six-foot drop tarps designed for this account. Tarp pay is included within the account's overall compensation program.

• Dedicated stainless-steel customer freight • Backhaul freight planned toward Alabama • Primarily live loading and unloading • No unnecessary deadhead back to the account
