We have an exciting position near SNOHOMISH, WA, starting on 03-04-2024, providing coverage until 04-05-2024.

Join our dynamic team in the Inpatient setting and contribute to the success of our Acute Rehab facility. Job Details Specialties: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department: PMR Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Reason for Coverage: Scheduling Need Allowed Holidays: 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, Labor Day Providers Requested: 1 Provider Title: PMR Physician Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call EMR System: PinPoint Will Facility Accept Multiple Providers?: Yes Practice Setting Inpatient: Yes Both Inpatient and Outpatient Required: No Does Provider require hospital/surgery center privileges?: No Admissions Required?: Yes Are temporary privileges available?: Yes Is Hospital Stroke Certified?: No Patients Per Shift: 40-50 split between locums and PMR Bed In Department: TBD Rounding: Assigned Patients Practice Details Does your Facility require physicians to be board certified?: Yes Fellowship: N/A Minimum Board Certification: Eligible Certification Requirements ABLS: No Allow Bids from Providers with IMLC?: No ACLS: No Will you reimburse Vendor for costs associated with licensing Provider?: No ATLS: No BLS: No Estimated Credentialing Timeframe (Days): ASAP PALS: No Description/Other Details IRF Free-standing - Acute Rehab Daily Mon-Friday; some weekends for admits and any must-see patients Typical IRF need for physiatry: Brief review and sign off with liaison of admitting patients; admit with timely H and P; Plan of Care note: 3 face-to-face visits min (more if/as needed); consult with IM where/if needed. Team Conf per schedule (afternoons) and weekends (3/16 and 17 and 3/30 and 31) Typical working hours: 8-5, 9-6, 10-7, etc.

Case Conferences are after lunch hour. Weekend need to rotate (two weekends); call back PRN; Avg calls per day: 2 to 3- own patient base Census will be 40-50 ish +/- split between locums and the second PMR here Pinpoint training EMR needed - Prefer a few days in advance, some time by teams with a share screen and our MD director, and then arrive the day before the provider leaves to finalize and hand off. PMR is the admitting MD and will ask for consult where needed.

Have both IM MD and highly present and available AVP IM. PMR is to do H and P, Plan of Care, DC summary; lead team conf with an experienced team of professionals. CM team helps drive.

Pinpoint training EMR needed (unless have exp in pinpoint with other Lifepoint/Kindred IRFs) - Prefer a few days in advance by teams with a share screen and our MD director and then arrive the day before the provider leaves to finalize and hand off.
