Job description

We are offering competitive percentage-based split for local pier drivers operating out of Elizabeth, NJ. We are willing to sit down with you and discuss and negotiate for your specific needs, whether it is in person, over the phone, or over videochat. 

50/50 split for 1099, and 35% for W-2 employees. We pay tolls, and we do NOT deduct tolls or miscellaneous fees from your portion of the payment. We split the actual fuel cost and actual truck load payment with you. Don't have your TWIC, but interested in driving pier? Apply now, and we will pay for your TWIC.

    • CDL Class A
    • 18+ months experience
    • Clean record
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Job Description
    • Hometime: every day or every other day.
    • Load will run out of Elizabeth, NJ. Drivers are not required to live in the state of NJ. Job location on the posting is the yard location.
    • Types of loads: port, rail, flatbed, van
    • Ports: Maher, Red Hook, Global Bayonne, PNCT, APM Sealand, NYCT Howland Hook
    • We are pet-friendly. Drivers are permitted to bring their pets in our trucks.
  • Compensation & Benefits
    • 1099-specific
      • Split is 50/50 on fuel and payment on load.
      • No benefits. Only to a company. We can help you with setting up your company.
    • W-2-specific
      • Split is 35%. Driver receives 35% of the payment, and driver pays 35% of the fuel cost.
      • Benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, holiday pay, YOUR BIRTHDAY IS A HOLIDAY
      • For live (un)loads, $25 per hour at customer (includes every minute of waiting at customer after the appointment time)
      • Quarterly performance bonuses based on 2% of profit generated by driver's individual truck
      • $2000 sign-on bonus
