Employees in this position-laborers, crew members, foremen, and warehouse associates-may be required to operate company vehicles that do not meet the federal threshold of 10,001 lbs GVWR for classification as Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs). While a DOT medical certificate is not required for Non-CMV drivers, employees are expected to meet all company driving standards, maintain safe operation of vehicles, and support core foundation repair or warehouse duties as assigned.
This role combines driving responsibilities with general construction labor, field support, or warehouse activities depending on job assignment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Vehicle Operation

• Operate company pickup trucks, vans, and light-duty vehicles under 10,001 lbs GVWR to transport materials, tools, equipment, and personnel.
• Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip checks to ensure the vehicle is in safe working order (fluids, tires, lights, fuel, visible defects).
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring safe loading and securing of all tools and materials.
• Comply with all company vehicle policies, local traffic laws, defensive driving expectations, and safety protocols.

Field & Labor Support (For Crew Members / Laborers / Foremen)

• Assist with foundation repair operations such as excavation, pier installation, structural support adjustments, concrete work, and equipment handling.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and machinery from vehicles.
• Follow instructions from the foreman or supervisor to ensure safe and efficient project completion.
• Operate small equipment or power tools as required on job sites.

Foreman-Specific Duties (If Applicable)

• Provide direction, leadership, and work coordination for assigned crew members.
• Ensure all employees follow company safety rules and vehicle operation standards.
• Maintain jobsite productivity, oversee quality control, and act as the primary customer-facing representative during field operations.

Warehouse Support (If Applicable)

• Assist with material handling tasks such as receiving, loading, unloading, organizing inventory, and preparing orders for crews.
• Transport equipment or supplies between warehouse and job sites using non-CMV vehicles.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment when properly trained.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must possess a valid state driver's license meeting company driving standards.
• Strong driving record with no major violations as defined by company policy.
• Ability to routinely lift 50-75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying climates and conditions.
• Experience in construction, foundation repair, warehouse operations, or vehicle operation preferred but not required.
• Willingness to complete safety training, vehicle operation training, and any company-required certifications.
