Checker Loader
Shifts: 3rd shift 8pm – 6:30am
Pay: $17/hr

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform various duties including moving stacks of product
  • Using pick-to-light programs or voice-activated equipment
  • Filling orders to a route, loading and unloading trucks
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and secure working environment
  • Works cooperatively with co-workers
  • Notifies a supervisor if there are issues with overages or shortages or quality products
  • Reach-down tray stacks of bread, muffins & bagels, & arrange product for efficient loading and operations
  • Daily processing of required paperwork, including inputting any adjustments, shorts, overages, and verifying loads to account for all products, and utilizing computer applications
  • Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • This position requires a general understanding of generally accepted warehouse principles
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must have 1 year of shipping or warehouse experience preferred
  • Must be able to push and pull
  • Must possess basic computer skills
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, climb, and twist
  • Stack and carry trays, push, pull stacks of product
Education:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent or equivalent is preferred but not required.
