Job Overview:
SK hynix is seeking a Physical Security Specialist to support security operations at our U.S. corporate office and future manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will understand the cultural and operational characteristics of a Korean-based company while helping develop and implement security strategies tailored to the U.S. environment.
This role is responsible for protecting company assets and facilities while ensuring full compliance with both U.S. regulations and corporate security policies.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and operate physical security programs for offices and facilities, including access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and alarm systems.
  • Ensure that all access procedures are implemented in accordance with company security policies.
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments and site inspections to identify vulnerabilities, develop mitigation plans, and implement improvements.
  • Plan and deliver security awareness programs and training for employees and security personnel to strengthen organizational security culture.
  • Conduct initial investigations of security incidents or violations and prepare clear and accurate reports documenting findings and incident timelines.
  • Monitor and ensure that all security operations comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations as well as company security policies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Practical experience in physical security operations, facilities security, or a related security field within the United States.
  • Bilingual in English and Korean, with the ability to conduct business communication and prepare written reports in both languages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and data management.
  • Professional security certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional) or PSP (Physical Security Professional) from ASIS International are a plus.

  • Authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship is not available)
  • Willingness to travel periodically to San Jose, South Korea, and other locations as needed
